The UMC put out a statement welcoming the Supreme Court decision upholding the Affordable Care Act.
Some people aren’t convinced this is a good thing: Megan McArdle, writing for Bloomberg, points out that insurance doesn’t seem to save lives. (It does save money, however.)
Robert Laszewski, at Forbes, looks at who’s signed up and concludes: “Obamacare is unpopular because only the poorest have literally embraced it by buying it. … Obamacare will never be popular, or a great vote getter, unless it meets the needs of other than the poorest.”
