Here’s a place with a great vision:
The Community Food and Outreach Center in Orlando is innovating as a food pantry (clients pay a portion of the cost of groceries, saving about 60% over the cost of shopping in stores). But as the name suggests, it’s more than food: they also provide face-to-face case management to help people with job readiness, academic proficiency, housing, etc. They also partner with other non-profits and host them on-site.
There’s no secret to having a great impact. Just figure out what you’re trying to do and then do it. Do it only, and organize everything you do around getting that thing done.
